10 Big Ones

Rowan's Top Ten Month Update

1.  Talks/babbles all the time. She loves to point at things and tell you all about it.

2.  The girl is crawling! And she's fast. She gets into everything. I now know why people have baby gates. I seriously had no idea. So far the couch pillows have worked at containing her but I'm not sure how long that will last. She is much happier now that she is mobile though. 

3.  Claps to music. Claps when you clap. Claps randomly. The girl likes clapping.

4.  Is very opinionated. She will let you know if she wants to be held (or not), doesn't like what you're feeding her, or that you're taking to long changing her diaper.

5.  Has slept through the night 5 nights in a row! Hallelujah! 

6.  Her brother makes her laugh the loudest. It's mostly his silly booty shaking dances that get the biggest laugh. Or maybe it's his ridiculous faces. 

7.  She has to take an iron supplement that she dislikes very much. She's started clenching her jaw shut when she sees the bottle and I have to pry it open to get the liquid in. We go back to the doctor in two weeks to make sure her levels are improving. Hopefully we won't have to do this for long.

8.  Can pull herself to a standing position.

9.  She makes grunting noises and thinks it's hilarious. You grunt, she grunts back. It's like a call and response grunt game. I blame Nippon for this. 

10.  She is such a good swimmer and loves the water. Her teacher says she already has a natural breaststroke kick. Yeah.
