Kid Ventures

We went to a birthday party at Kid Ventures (the below picture) back in December and the kids had so much fun that I purchased a punchcard so we could go back for some more fun.

We finally made it over to take advantage of that card. The kids pretty much had the whole place to themselves! It was nice to sit back and watch their imaginations run wild. From cook to doctor, maid, grocer, and knights to pirates...they did it all.

Girl Time with Tigers

Here are some pictures, in no particular order, of Rowan and my "girls time" at the Safari Park. We went to check out the new tiger exhibit, and it didn't disappoint.

Untitled.

I thought he was saluting me,
My xmas wish come true!
But alas, he says
twas just the sun
A shinin' bright on through.

(There's a stick snowman in there too.)

The Potty. Ugh.

Do not let her trick you, sitting on the potty is the only thing she does. Wait, I take that back, she does TALK about going potty, and she likes reading her books about going potty. There has yet to be any deposits though....but there are some cute mischievous smiles given!

Ninja Birthday Party

Afton was invited to a birthday party for a classmate of his, and they let Rowan tag along too! They held it at a Taekwondo school and had an instructor teach them a few moves. Afton was in heaven, and he even got a coupon for a week of free classes!

They broke boards, played games, ate yummy food, and broke a cool ninja piƱata. It was super fun and I'm so thankful that so many of the parents of kids in Afton's class are so kind and thoughtful. We are pretty lucky.
